Using the internet is a great way to find more information about your new city. This page was created as a handy way for you to conduct web searches that related to the location you are moving to. Start with the list of states below. On the following page you will find a list of cities for that state. Click on the city that you are interested in. On the individual city page you will find a number of searches that are prearranged so that they will return related results for the city of your choice. The results will open in a new window. You will then be on a search engine page that lists the top results for that particular city search. You can then modify your search as needed so that you can get even more specific information.

Note About Doing City Searches

You probably won't be able to find everything that you want to know about the city that you are interested in just by searching the internet. It is always a good idea to get some first hand information from people who actually live there. You might want to ask your realtor, friends and relatives for their input. You can never really know what it will be like to live in any city until after you have already lived there for a few months. However, the more research you do, the more you will be able to get a general feel for the community.
